SWISSPEARL® Panels

Maritime environment has been proven to be detrimental to many materials and surfaces due to corrosion of metals or metallic ingredients in contact with chlorides from sea water. A similar situation exists where road salt is used during the winter.

SWISSPEARL façade panels do not contain any metallic materials, neither in the panel nor in the surface coating, including those panels with pearlescent appearance. The pure acrylic finish and the use of highly chemical resistant pigments and fillers assure best durability.

Panel Fasteners

For fastening of SWISSPEARL panels in maritime environment (i.e. less than 1 km distance to the ocean) it is required to use panel fasteners in stainless steel- rivets to metal sub frame, screws to timber battens.

Sub frame material to be specified by Architect/ Engineer/ Contractor. SWISSPEARL supplied SFS stainless steel rivets are suitable for installation on the following sub frame material:

• Galvanized steel
• Stainless steel
• Anodized aluminum
• Raw aluminum
